I have wagered on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of funds at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely fun at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
