I have bet on countless of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of bankroll at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
