I have wagered on countless of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
