I have wagered on countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
