I have enjoyed millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
