I have wagered on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years back with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
